The Great Wall of China

　
　The best engineering works ever. It is the great wall of China. Kings of China had build it to protect an invasion of the northern race. It was entered as a World Heritage by UNESCO in 1987. It's almost 6000 kilometers from east to west of China and rises to a height of over 9 meters.
　The great wall of China is not a simple wall. It's a military enemy line of defense and a cultural boundary. Also, it's regarded as one of the Seven Wonders of the World
　I want to go to the great wall of China. It's really long and long. If I go to China, I will go this place at my first time in China.

The 16th Asian Games

　Yesterday, Guangzhou Asian Games finished. After Olympic, China opened the 16th Asian Games. 45 countries in Asia participated and there are 42 items.
　The Vision of the 16th Asian Games is a 'Thrilling Games, Harmonious Asia'. 'Thrilling Games' mean thriving and thrilling sports environment highlighted by intense competition. 'Harmonious Asia' mean promoting affection among the Asian people.
　The winner country is China. China won as many as 199 medals. I opened my eyes wide in surprise. 199 medals! That's amazing.

The Beijing 2008 Olympic

　China succeeded in opening Olympic in 2008. It is the Olympic had been held with the third in Asia after in 1964 Japan and 1988 Korea. The period is from August 8th to 24th. The opening ceremony of the Olympic Games opened August 8th 2008, at 8:00 in the afternoon. Because Chinese think that '8' is a symbol of fortune.
　The contest subject is 'One world, One dream'. This reflects the essence and the universal values of the Olympic spirit ―Unity, Friendship, Progress, Harmony, Participation and Dream. The Olympic Games emblem "Chinese Seal, Dancing Beijing" is fulled of Beijing's hopes, and carries the city's commitment to the world.
　China was awarded 51 gold medals and standed first at the first time. The Beijing 2008 Olympic was good for China.

The Flag of China

　China, the country where area is large with the fourth in the world.

　This flag belongs to China. The large yellow star in the red base stands for the Communist Party of China. The little stars represents the people whom the worker/farmer/knowledge class/patriotic capitalist was realized when China was born. Red is a traditional color symbolizing a revolution, and yellow of the star denotes the yellow race.

　From this day on, I'm going to write about China. My first posting is about the flag. It'll be many postings about China. I hope you guys know China through my blog.
